Nymphaeales es un orden de plantas acuáticas angiospermas, el cual comprende tres familias: Cabombaceae, Nymphaeaceae e Hydatellaceae.[1]
Se han encontrado fósiles de este orden de hasta 112 millones de años de antigüedad.[2]
